James is Team Physiotherapist for the Sunshine Coast Lightning, working in the Super Netball League, and travelling around Australia to manage the player’s injuries.
Between working in elite sport, James has always practiced privately, and here at the Paradise Physio studio is available for appointment.
James has post-graduate Masters-level training allowing him to use the title APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, and has worked with elite sports teams across many codes, including;
- Melbourne Storm (15 – 16)
- Carlton Blues AFL/VFL (17 – 18)
- Eastern Lions NPL (2021)
- Maroochydore Swans (2022)
We are able to provide excellent personalised care to meet your needs. We are happy to accept referrals from other health care providers, but you don’t require a referral to book an appointment.

James has provided post-operative rehabilitation programs for many Orthopaedic Surgeons throughout Australia and he has extensive knowledge in postoperative rehabilitation protocols.
He will educate and inform you regarding your injury and the best way maximise improvements in your condition. He will monitor patient outcome scores to assess your progress and involve you in the decision making process regarding your treatment.
